Les Figues titles recommended at Conversational Reading

Over at Conversational Reading, Scott Esposito praises The /n/oulipian Analects (edited by Christine Wertheim and Matias Viegener):

Very cool book for people into Oulipo or interesting writing in general: The /n/oulipian Analects, published by Les Figues Press. It’s essentially an anthology of recent constrained writing (both from within the Oulipo and outside of it), plus interesting essays and short bits on the ideas behind such writing.

Also on Conversational Reading, Les Figues Managing Editor Andrew Wessels writes about the press’s mission:

In the preface to The End of Oulipo, Lauren Elkin and Scott Esposito write that “a great Oulipian work is both a statement of what it knows and a gesture toward something infinitely larger than itself.” I think that that statement would work as a good description for what we are trying to do at Les Figues Press: to create aesthetic conversations between readers, writers and artists by publishing books that push the boundaries of genre, form, and general acceptability.
