We are pleased to announce that Andrew Wessels has joined Les Figues Press as our new managing editor.

Andrew is a poet, literary translator, and founding editor of The Offending Adam, a journal of poetry and poetics. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a BA in English and Comparative Literature from the University of Southern California. As the John Cobain Fellow at the Black Mountain Institute, he served as an assistant editor for the award-winning literary journal Witness. Most recently, he was the Reading/Workshop Program Fellow at Poets & Writers. He also has experience as an independent bookseller and events curator.

As the managing editor, Andrew will be handling the day-to-day operations of Les Figues, including book/content production, publicity, and order fulfillment. He will also be managing the Les Figues internship program, which provides emerging writers and artists with experience in all aspects of small press publishing. This full-time position is possible with support provided by the Metabolic Studio.
