Evidently, HTMLGIANT contributor Christopher Higgs was dissatisfied with the National Book Award’s 2013 selections. “I’m sure they’re fine books,” he admitted, but as he was unfamiliar with a majority of the titles, he decided to create a “revised” list of his own, beginning with Les Figues’ own Cunt Norton by Dodie Bellamy. He praises:
