Bad Princess Poetry Walk

A gang of Disney Princesses was kicked out of Disneyland for bad behavior. The Bad Princesses will make their final appearance at the West Hollywood Book Fair before they are carted off to cartoon jail on Oct 2, 2011. On this fateless day, the Bad Princesses will lead a pack of royalty-in-training on a quest for happily never after through the magic-less kingdom of the book fair. Cursed trinkets from the Bad Princesses’ hopeless chests will be bequeathed upon all trainees upon the journey’s start. Royal trainees will go through a series of initiations in the form of poetry writing prompts at various stations and situations on their quest. These prompts will inspire investigation of what constitutes (in)appropriate behavior, in the pursuit of happily never after. At the end of the walk, which really isn’t the end at all, but yet another beginning, all trainees in the party will have the opportunity to submit their bad princess poems for publication in the Bad Princess Anthology, and will have mugs shots taken with the Bad Princesses. Trainees will then decide if being a Princess is, indeed, all it’s cracked up to be.
