Danielle Adair

Visual artist for the TrenchArt Parapet Series.

Danielle Adair is an interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. She has performed and/or exhibited work at The Museum of Contemporary Art – Los Angeles, the Roy and Edna Disney CalArts Theater, UC Santa Cruz, Beyond Baroque, and Track 16 Gallery. Last year, she undertook an embed at the US military base in Bagram, Afghanistan to complete a performance-essay based on one female intelligence soldier stationed there.

Most recently from Adair is her “field book” From JBAD, Lessons Learned, (Les Figues 2009), a limited edition print component of Adair’s larger project, First Assignment, a multi-media presentation of her experience.
