A sentence leads time around a tracing space.
It can lead the splice into the hole, through the
other end. Love is also a knot. All I ever wanted
was to move my arms in both directions. Control
is a thing you can work very hard to find.


1. Control – The Edge of the Room

A garage is defined by what comes and goes from
it, leaving traces. The form allows settings in and
the bodies of people and animals leave residues,
the accumulation of events and words leaves
traces, cuttings, and a breakdown of the day to
day. To remain in the garage is a breakdown. I bring
my dog to a garage. He inhales and undergoes
a tremor. To leave is to leave the page, and stop
there. The fourth wall of any piece is a vertical
door with windows made of glass.
