Julie Thi Underhill
Julie Thi Underhill’s documentary work includes portraits and landscapes from Africa, El Salvador, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, and Viet Nam. Her interview is included in National Public Radio’s Crossing East, and her poetry appears in Maxine Hong Kingston’s forthcoming Veterans of War Veterans of Peace. A photographer, filmmaker, writer, and painter living in Portland, Oregon, Julie has a fellowship from Boston’s William Joiner Center for the Study of War and Social Consequences.
