The FieldSpencer Dew, a fiction writer and lit critic, selected his top four small press-released book picks for the literary blog Karen the Small Press Librarian, and he chose The Field by Martin Glaz Serup as one of his picks. Here’s what Dew had to say about his choice:

There’s a pun, in the original Danish, between the poet’s first name and “Marken” or field, and here, lonely against the white space of the page, we have assorted musings about that field, identity as a chain of idiosyncrasies, desires. As a fresh and addictive template for autobiography, it will realign how you think about your “self.”
